Alfred Mavers’ legacy lives on in a “museum” of sorts that my Uncle has created in his house in Germany. In addition to many paintings, drawings and works of art, he has artifacts and photos that document Alfred’s life. This is a treasure trove for any scholar interested in the life and times of a very talented German painter!
