This portrait drawn by Alfred Mavers is earlier than most of the works that I have in my collection. Most of my paintings are from the 1960s-1980s. Early works, similar to this 1957 sketch can be found in my Uncle’s collection in Germany. Many thanks to Rosie Belle for making me aware of this drawing and sending me an image of it!
