Paintings – 1960s

Alfred Mavers studied art in Hannover, Germany in the 1920s. He was most productive as an artist after the Second World War, particularly in the 1960s and 1970s. His subject matter includes rural and urban landscapes, portraits and still lifes. Colour is a key element in his work.
